Net Net Pricing: Free Tier, 60-Day Trial, and Paid Plans

In brief: Net Net has three layers: a permanent free tier, a 60-day trial, and a paid plan billed per active Job per month or prepaid annually.

Applies to: Everyone in the workspace. Only an Owner can choose or change the plan.

Net Net pricing has three layers: a free tier that never expires, a 60-day trial that starts when you activate your first Job, and a paid plan at $30 per active Job per month or an annual prepay. Billing sits at the workspace level and is priced by Job, never by person, so what you pay follows your work instead of your head count. Nothing converts on its own: if you do not choose a paid plan before the trial ends, the workspace goes back to free and everything you built stays exactly where it is.

The free tier, and it stays free

Signing up gets you a workspace that does not expire and does not ask for a card. On the free tier you get:

Your workspace, with your people in it
Contacts
Quick Tasks
My Lists

You can also build Job plans on the free tier. You can create a Job, add Deliverables and Tasks, and shape the whole thing in the Plan Stepper. What you cannot do is switch it on. Activating a Job is what takes you into premium territory.

There is no trial clock ticking in the background here. You can sit on the free tier for a week or a year.

The 60-day trial

The first time you activate a Job, your 60-day trial starts. During those 60 days you get everything: unlimited active Jobs, Chat, advanced reporting, integrations, and MCP access for your own AI tools.

Paid

After the trial, a paid plan is either:

Monthly: $30 per active Job per month, prorated by the day
Annual: you prepay for a number of Jobs for the year and take a volume discount

What counts as a Job you pay for

Only Jobs that are really in play count toward the bill.

Counts toward your bill. Jobs with a status of Active, and Jobs with a status of Completed.

Does not count. Jobs that are still Pending, and Jobs that have been Archived.

A Job you have not activated yet costs nothing. Neither does a Job you have archived. If you are not sure which status a Job is sitting in, Job Lifecycle: Pending, Active, Completed, Archived walks through all four.

Why Completed still counts

A Completed Job is finished work that is still sitting in your live workspace, still open to look at, still feeding your reports. It keeps counting until you archive it.

Archiving is the switch that stops a Job counting. When a Job is genuinely done and you do not need it in your active view any more, archive it. From that day forward it stops adding to the bill, and nothing about it is lost.

How the monthly bill actually adds up

Monthly billing is not a flat "one more Job, one more $30." Net Net looks at your workspace once a day and counts how many Jobs are billable. Each one picks up a billable day.

At the end of your billing cycle, Net Net works out a daily rate from the $30 monthly price and the number of days in that particular cycle, then multiplies it by the days each Job actually carried.

So if you activate a Job on the 20th of a 30-day cycle, you are billed for 11 days of that Job, not a whole month. If you archive a Job halfway through, it stops accruing that day.

Because it is counted daily, there is no penalty for turning a short Job on and off. You pay for the days it was live.

Billing is for the workspace, not for people

Net Net does not have per-user pricing and is not going to grow one. When every login has a price, someone gets left out. Invite your full-time staff, your part-timers, your freelancers, and the coordinator who shows up once a week. The bill does not move.

Nothing converts automatically

This is the part worth reading twice.

When your 60-day trial ends, Net Net does not pick a plan for you and does not charge a card it is holding. If you did not choose a paid plan during the trial:

Your workspace returns to the free tier
Net Net archives your Active and Completed Jobs
All of your data is preserved. Nothing is deleted

You can come back later, pick a plan, and bring your Jobs back out of the archive.

How much does Net Net cost?

Do I pay per person on my team?

No. Net Net never charges per user or per seat. Billing is calculated for the whole workspace based on how many Jobs are active, so you can invite staff, contractors, and freelancers without the price changing.

Which Jobs am I charged for?

Jobs with a status of Active or Completed. Pending Jobs and Archived Jobs do not count toward the bill. Archiving a finished Job is how you stop it from accruing.

If I activate a Job halfway through the month, do I pay for the whole month?

No. Monthly billing is prorated by the day. Net Net counts the days each Job was billable during your cycle and applies a daily rate worked out from the $30 monthly price and the length of that cycle.

What happens if I do nothing when my trial ends?

The workspace returns to the free tier and your active Jobs are archived. Nothing is charged and nothing is deleted. There is no automatic conversion to a paid plan, so if a card is on file from signup, it is not charged at trial end.
