Jobs Report is the historical lookup across every Job your workspace has ever run, built for the moment you need to find a specific Job fast rather than watch one in progress. Filter by Company, Job Name, Job Number, Job Type, Job Status, or Date Range, then open View Report on any result for that Job's plan-versus-actual detail: Original Plan, Current Plan, Actual Hours, Remaining Hours, Change Orders, a Deliverable Breakdown, and a Service Type Breakdown.

You'll find it under Performance → Jobs.

What it's for

A workspace that's been running Net Net for a few years can accumulate hundreds of Jobs. Jobs Report exists to cut through that history: find the Job you're thinking of, and get a performance summary for it without opening the Job itself. The Jobs list

Filters are Company, Job Name, Job Number, Job Type (Project or Retainer), Job Status (Active, Completed, or Archived), and Date Range. Results show:

• Job Number
• Job Name
• Company
• Job Type
• Status
• Start Date
• Completion Date, shown as a dash for an active Job that hasn't finished
• View Report, a link into that Job's performance detail

The list is filterable but not sortable by clicking a column heading; narrow it with the filters above the table to find what you're looking for.

The Job Report detail

Opening View Report lands on the same performance story as the Job's own Performance tab, presented for lookup rather than day-to-day monitoring:

• Start Date and Completion Date
• Original Plan, the effort committed to at activation
• Current Plan, Original Plan plus every applied Change Order
• Actual Hours, real logged time
• Change Orders, how many are applied and how many hours they added
• Remaining Hours, Current Plan minus Actual

Below that summary sit two tables: Deliverable Breakdown, one row per Deliverable with Original Plan, Current Plan, Actual, Remaining, and Status; and Service Type Breakdown, the same Job cut by kind of work instead of by Deliverable.

Retainers in Jobs Report

For a Retainer Job, this detail view opens on the current cycle, the same one the Job's own Performance tab shows by default. It does not have its own month-by-month selector. How those monthly cycles work in the first place is covered in Running Retainers: Monthly Cycles, Tasks, and Actuals.

Who can see it

Jobs Report, along with Time Report and Team Report, is visible to Owners and Admins only. Anyone who can open a Job can still see that Job's own Performance tab directly, per their role on that Job; Jobs Report is specifically the workspace-wide lookup layer. For a person's own work rather than the workspace's, My Performance under Me is the personal equivalent.

Can I search for a Job by its client?

Yes. Company is one of the filters, alongside Job Name, Job Number, Job Type, Job Status, and Date Range.

Can I click a column heading to sort the results?

No, the list is filterable rather than sortable by column. Narrow the results with the filters above the table instead.

Can I look at a past month of a Retainer from Jobs Report?

Not from Jobs Report directly. Its Retainer detail opens on the current cycle and has no month selector of its own. Open the Job itself and use the Cycle switcher on its Performance tab to step through past months.

What does Remaining Hours mean on a Job Report?

Current Plan minus Actual Hours. It goes negative once logged time passes the plan, which is Net Net's way of showing an overage as an overage instead of flattening it to zero.

Can a Lead pull up Jobs Report for the Jobs they lead?

No. Jobs Report is Owner and Admin only. A Lead can still open any Job they lead directly and view its own Performance tab; what they can't do is reach it through the workspace-wide Jobs Report.
