My Tasks
My Tasks is your execution home base. It answers one question, clearly: what do I work on next? It's also where you land every time you open Net Net.
My Tasks pulls every task assigned to you into one simple list, whether the work lives inside a Job or stands alone as a Quick Task, so you never have to hunt across the app.
You'll find it under Me → My Tasks.
What you'll see
One flat list of your work. No folders and no grouping, because it's all real work.
Each row shows:
- Task name and status
- A short description
- Context, or where the task belongs (Job and client, or Quick Task)
- Chat and Time actions
- Assignee, service type, due date
- An LOE / Timeline signal that tells you if the task is on track
Browse with the status pills at the top:
- All (default): active work, meaning Backlog, In Progress, and Completed (Archived is hidden)
- Backlog, In Progress, Completed, Archived
There's also a search box and a due-date filter to narrow things down.
The Context column
Instead of a plain client column, Context tells you where each task belongs:
- Job task: the Job name (click it to open the Job), with the client underneath
- Quick Task: "Quick Task," with the client name (or "Internal")
Chat and Time on every row
- Time: start a timer or log time manually without leaving the list. While a timer runs, it stays visible in your top bar and browser tab, so you never forget it's going.
- Chat: available on Job tasks so the conversation stays attached to the work. Quick Tasks don't have chat.
LOE / Timeline in one signal
Each task shows how its effort is tracking (LOE, or level of effort: hours tracked versus hours planned) and how it sits against its due date. States are simple: due in X days, due today, or overdue. Pressure is visible at a glance.
Editing a task inline
Click a row to expand it, then edit the description, status, due date, LOE, service type, or assignee right there. No pop-ups, no separate edit screen.
Who sees which tasks
My Tasks is personal by default. You see your own work.
Owners and Admins get a switcher to view another team member's tasks when they need to support them. Everyone else stays on their own list. My Tasks is built to help someone, not to hover over them.
Good to know
- It's your landing page. After you log in, My Tasks is the first thing you see. Your work is front and center from the moment you open Net Net.
- Empty list? You'll see "No tasks found. Assigned tasks will appear here." Nothing's broken. There's just nothing assigned to you right now.
- The ⋮ menu on each row holds task actions like deleting a task.
Why My Tasks works this way
My Tasks is deliberately flat and calm. No grouping, no hierarchy, no second system to keep in sync. Just the real work assigned to you, in one place, ready to act on. If you ever have to stop and think about what to do next, the screen isn't doing its job.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where is My Tasks?
My Tasks lives under Me → My Tasks and is your default landing page. Opening Net Net takes you straight there.
What kinds of tasks show up here?
Everything assigned to you across Net Net, both Job tasks and Quick Tasks, in one flat list. There's no grouping, so you never have to hunt across the app.
Can I edit a task without leaving the list?
Yes. Click a row to expand it and edit the description, status, due date, LOE, service type, or assignee inline. No pop-ups, no separate edit screen.
Which tasks have chat?
Chat is available on Job tasks only. Quick Tasks don't have chat, since they aren't attached to a Job conversation.
Can I see someone else's tasks?
Only Owners and Admins can switch the view to another team member's tasks. Members and Leads see just their own list. This keeps My Tasks personal by default.
What does the LOE / Timeline meter mean?
LOE is your level of effort, meaning hours tracked against hours planned. Timeline shows how the due date is approaching. Together they tell you at a glance if a task is on track, close to its budget, or overdue.
