# Team Support Dashboard Preview: Who Needs a Check-In

||| **Coming at the end of August 2026.** Performance Dashboards are not in Net Net yet. This article previews how the Team tab will work so you know what to expect when it arrives. Nothing described below is clickable in your workspace today.

**In brief:** Coming August 2026, the Team Support tab will list who may need a check-in: overdue assigned tasks, or load over monthly capacity.

**Applies to:** Owners and Admins, the only roles that see the Performance section.

**See also:** Performance Dashboards: Five Tabs Coming August 2026 covers the whole release, and Team Report: Assigned Work and Capacity by Person is the evidence layer you can already open today.

**Team, labeled Team Support, will answer one question: who may need a check-in right now? It is a support surface and never a performance grade. It will not rank, score, or compare people against each other. Exactly two things will put someone on the list: they have assigned tasks that are overdue, or their measured load is materially over their monthly capacity. People with no signals stay hidden.**

The name is doing deliberate work. Most software that shows you a list of your team is really showing you a ranking with the ranking hidden. This one is not. Team Support is one of the five tabs previewed in [Performance Dashboards: Five Tabs Coming August 2026](https://help.netnet.app/en-us/article/performance-dashboards-five-tabs-coming-august-2026-1qrsbq9/).

# The two signals, and only those two

A person appears on Team Support when one of these is true:

- They have **assigned tasks that are overdue**
- Their **measured load is materially over their monthly capacity**

That is the whole list. Not "how accurate their estimates are," not "how much they log per day," not "how often their work runs over." Those would be judgments about a person, and a support screen that quietly grades people stops being a support screen.

Everyone else is summarized in one line: "5 more people have no active support signals. View all."

# A workspace trust note, not a per-person one

At the top of the screen will be a workspace-level note about logging, something like "Some active work has not been logged recently, so Team signals may be incomplete."

That note sits at the workspace level on purpose, and it is worth understanding why.

|| Stale time will deliberately not be a person card. Net Net does not know anyone's daily schedule, so judging an individual's logging cadence would be both unfair to part-time and contract teammates and uncomfortably close to surveillance. Net Net reports unlogged active work as a workspace fact that affects the numbers, not as a mark against a person.

# Full names, no avatars standing in for judgment

People will be listed by full first and last name throughout. No initials, no nicknames, no handle. If you are about to have a conversation with someone about their workload, you should be looking at their actual name.

Names and photos themselves come from each person's own Profile and cannot be edited by the workspace, which is the same identity rule described in [Managing Team Members, Invites, and Join Requests](https://help.netnet.app/en-us/article/managing-team-members-invites-and-join-requests-dstmjr/).

# What Team Support will never be

No ranking. No leaderboard. No best-to-worst sort. The list will be ordered by who needs attention, which is a different thing from who is performing worst.

No composite score. There will be no zero-to-one-hundred number attached to any person.

No estimate-quality-by-person. Whether work lands inside its planned hours is a mix of plan quality and execution, and the planned hours are usually set by whoever planned the Job rather than by the person doing it. Attributing that to an individual would be measuring the wrong thing. Anything in that territory belongs to a future Private Patterns view, which is deliberately not part of this release.

No money. Monthly Seat Cost exists in Settings as an Owner-level input and never appears on any Performance surface, including this one.

| If someone shows up here repeatedly, the useful question is usually about the plan rather than the person: are they assigned more than their Monthly Capacity supports, or is the work itself scoped light? [Capacity](https://help.netnet.app/en-us/article/capacity-dashboard-preview-who-has-room-this-month-1ieuujv/) answers the first. [Plan vs Actual](https://help.netnet.app/en-us/article/plan-vs-actual-dashboard-preview-estimate-accuracy-1118gdo/) answers the second.

Building slack into the plan up front is the wider version of that same idea. Net Net's write-up on [the 25/15 resource planning method](https://hellonetnet.com/the-case-for-the-25-15-resource-planning-method/) makes the case for it.

# How this will relate to Team Report

They are different surfaces answering different questions, and both will exist.

[Team Report](https://help.netnet.app/en-us/article/team-report-assigned-work-and-capacity-by-person-1erfkq7/) is the evidence layer: who did what, over a date range, with the detail you need to check something or export it. It exists today and is unchanged.

Team Support will be the decision layer: who might need a conversation this week. It shows current state and a short list rather than complete history.

# Frequently Asked Questions

###### Are Performance Dashboards available today?

**No. They are scheduled to arrive at the end of August 2026.** [Team Report](https://help.netnet.app/en-us/article/team-report-assigned-work-and-capacity-by-person-1erfkq7/) is available now and is the closest existing surface, though it answers a different question: what happened over a period, rather than who needs support right now.

###### What will put someone on the Team Support list?

**Overdue assigned tasks, or a measured load materially over their monthly capacity.** Those are the only two triggers. Nothing about their logging habits, their estimate accuracy, or how they compare to teammates puts them on the list.

###### Will Team Support rank or score my team?

**No, never.** There is no leaderboard, no composite score, and no best-to-worst order. The list is sorted by who needs attention, and the reason each person is there is stated in plain words rather than compressed into a number.

###### Why is stale time a workspace note instead of a person card?

**Because Net Net does not know anyone's schedule.** There is no daily or weekly target for any teammate, only a monthly capacity figure. Flagging an individual for not logging on a given day would assume a workday that Net Net has no basis for, and would punish part-time and contract teammates for working normally.

###### Will I see whether someone's work usually runs over its planned hours?

**Not here.** Planned hours are usually set by whoever planned the Job, not by the person doing the work, so treating an overrun as a personal accuracy score would measure the wrong thing. That territory belongs to a future Private Patterns view that is not part of this release.

###### Where does the capacity figure behind the load signal come from?

**Monthly Capacity, set per person in Settings, Team.** It is the total monthly effort you expect that person to have available for work in Net Net, not billable hours only. If it has not been set for someone, Net Net will not invent one.
