# Sales Page Filters, Totals, and the Activity Feed

||| Sales in Net Net is coming in Q3 2026. This article previews how it will work so you can plan for it, but the Sales area isn't in the app yet. When it ships, this note will come down.

**In brief:** Coming Q3 2026, the Sales page will list Opportunities newest-modified first, with four stacking filters, a live summary strip, and one Activity Feed.

**Applies to:** Everyone in the workspace, once Sales ships in Q3 2026.

**See also:** Sales Opportunities, Not a CRM: A Q3 2026 Preview sets out the model behind this page, and Sales Clarity: How Linked Jobs Make a Deal Plannable explains the Clear count in the summary strip.

**The Sales page will be a working list, not a pipeline board. A control bar across the top gives you search plus four filters, a sticky summary strip underneath shows what the filtered list adds up to, and the table below lists your Opportunities with the most recently touched first. Open any one of them and the right rail holds a single Activity Feed where your notes and Net Net's own records of what changed sit on one timeline.**

When Sales ships, you'll find it under **Sales** in the left navigation.

# The Sales page control bar

One row across the top, left to right:

1. **Search**
2. **Clarity** filter
3. **Type** filter
4. **Status** filter
5. **Owner** filter
6. **New Opportunity**

Search will match on Opportunity name, company name, and person name, drawing on the records described in [Companies, People, and Individuals: Contact Records](https://help.netnet.app/en-us/article/companies-people-and-individuals-contact-records-1piobx5/), so you can find something by the client's name when you cannot remember what you called it.

Every filter will be a single control that shows its own label and its current value together: `Clarity: All`, `Type: All`, `Status: All`, `Owner: All owners`. You can read the state of the whole bar at a glance without clicking anything, which matters when you come back to a view you set three days ago and need to know what you are looking at.

The filters will compound. Clarity **Clear** plus Status **Open** plus your own name gives you your plannable live pipeline in three clicks, and the summary strip updates to match.

**New Opportunity** opens the form covered in [Creating an Opportunity: How Value Will Work in Sales](https://help.netnet.app/en-us/article/creating-an-opportunity-how-value-will-work-in-sales-d1vse/).

There will be no stage filter, because there are no stages. See [Sales Opportunities, Not a CRM: A Q3 2026 Preview](https://help.netnet.app/en-us/article/sales-opportunities-not-a-crm-a-q3-2026-preview-fys7k3/).

# The summary strip

Directly below the control bar will sit four compact blocks. They stay visible while you scroll, so the totals never disappear as you move down a long list.

**Projects.** The count of Opportunities that include project work, and the sum of their project values. Includes both Project and Both types.

**Retainers.** The count of Opportunities that include retainer work, and the sum of their monthly values, shown as a monthly figure. Includes both Retainer and Both types.

**Clear.** How many Opportunities in this view have Sales Clarity of Clear. This is the block worth watching. It answers how much of what you are looking at could actually be planned around, rather than how much of it exists. See [Sales Clarity: How Linked Jobs Make a Deal Plannable](https://help.netnet.app/en-us/article/sales-clarity-how-linked-jobs-make-a-deal-plannable-1c3xo25/).

**Top Owner.** Whoever is carrying the largest share of the value in this view, with their total and their Opportunity count. This is a workload question, not a scoreboard. It tells you where the pipeline is concentrated, which is useful right before someone goes on holiday.

|| The strip will always reflect the filtered list, never the whole workspace. Change a filter and the four blocks recalculate against exactly what is in the table beneath them. There is no second set of numbers coming from somewhere else, so what you see and what it adds up to can never disagree.

Project totals and retainer totals stay separate here, the same as everywhere else in Sales. A one-time figure and a monthly figure do not add up to anything meaningful, so Net Net does not add them.

# The table

Columns will run in a fixed order:

1. **Opportunity Name.** Clicking it opens the Opportunity.
2. **Company / Person.** The company where there is one, with the person shown underneath as secondary text. A standalone person shows on their own.
3. **Clarity.** Fog, Emerging, or Clear.
4. **Type.** Project, Retainer, or Both.
5. **Linked Jobs.** The count. Where there is at least one, a light list of them opens from here.
6. **Estimated Timing.** Whichever dates exist: a start, a completion, or both as a range.
7. **Value.** A project value on a Project. A monthly figure on a Retainer, with the reported total available as context. On a Both Opportunity, the two are stacked on separate lines and never merged.
8. **Owner.**
9. **Last Modified.**
10. **⋮**, the actions menu.

## Default sort

**Most recently modified first.**

Not by value, not by date, not by clarity. The Opportunities that have moved lately are the ones that need you, and the ones that have not moved are visible by how far they have sunk. A deal drifting to the bottom of this list is telling you something without anybody building a report about it.

# The Activity Feed

On a single Opportunity, the page will split. The left column holds the working surface: the summary card, the value blocks, the linked Jobs, and the follow-up tasks described in [Opportunity Tasks: Follow-Ups That Run Themselves](https://help.netnet.app/en-us/article/opportunity-tasks-follow-ups-that-run-themselves-qc52g4/). The right rail holds the Activity Feed, with the note box at the top of it.

**It will be one timeline.** Notes you write and events Net Net records sit together in a single chronological feed. There are no tabs and no separate history view to go digging in.

## What will land there

Things you and your team do:

- notes added and edited
- follow-up tasks created, completed, or moved between statuses

Things Net Net records on its own:

- a Job linked or removed
- a base value changing because a linked Job changed
- a manual override being set or changed
- the status changing, including won, lost, and put on hold
- the owner changing

|| Keeping these on one timeline is deliberate. When a deal stalls, the reason is usually a mix of both kinds of event: a note about what the client said, then a value dropping because a Job got unlinked, then three weeks of nothing. Split those into two views and the story disappears into the gap between them.

The feed should read like a timeline a person can follow, not a system log. That is the standard it is being built to.

## Last activity

An Opportunity's last activity will move when something meaningful happens: a note, a task created or completed, a Job linked or removed, a status change, an owner change, a value change.

Small edits still update the record, but the point of the last activity timestamp is real movement, which is why the default sort on this page is worth trusting.

# Views worth setting up first

A few combinations worth keeping in your head for the day this arrives:

- **Clarity: Clear** plus **Status: Open.** Everything live that you could genuinely plan around.
- **Owner: you** plus **Status: Open.** Your own live pipeline, with the summary strip showing what you are carrying.
- **Clarity: Fog** plus **Status: Open.** The conversations that have not gone anywhere yet. Usually the most useful half hour you will spend in here.
- **Status: On Hold.** The paused ones, which is worth opening once a month so nothing sits there forever.

# Frequently Asked Questions

###### Is there a Sales page in Net Net today?

**No. Sales is coming in Q3 2026, after the Performance Dashboards.** There is no Sales item in the left navigation yet. This article previews the page so you know what the filters and totals will do when it arrives.

###### How will I filter the Sales page?

**With the four filters in the control bar: Clarity, Type, Status, and Owner, plus search.** They stack, so you can narrow to one owner's open, plannable Opportunities in a few clicks. Each filter shows its current value on the control itself, so you can read the whole view without clicking anything.

###### What will the four blocks at the top of the Sales page show?

**Projects, Retainers, Clear, and Top Owner, all calculated from whatever the filters currently show.** Projects is the count and total of project value, Retainers is the count and total monthly value, Clear is how many Opportunities have a linked Job, and Top Owner is whoever is carrying the most value in that view.

###### Will the summary totals cover my whole workspace or just the filtered list?

**Just the filtered list.** The strip is always calculated from exactly the rows in the table beneath it, and it updates the moment you change a filter. There is no separate all-workspace total, which means the numbers can never disagree with what you are looking at.

###### Why are project and retainer values shown separately?

**Because a one-time value and a monthly value do not add up to anything meaningful.** Net Net keeps them apart in the summary strip, in the table, and on the Opportunity itself. A Both Opportunity shows the two figures stacked on separate lines rather than combined.

###### How will the Sales page be sorted?

**Most recently modified first, by default.** Opportunities that have had activity rise to the top, and quiet ones sink. That makes a stalled deal visible without anyone having to run a report to find it.

###### What will be in the Activity Feed?

**Notes and system events on one timeline.** Notes and task activity from your team, plus Net Net's own records of linked Jobs added or removed, value and override changes, status changes, and owner changes. There are no tabs and no second history surface.

###### Is Top Owner a ranking of who is performing best?

**No. It shows where the pipeline is concentrated right now, not who is doing well.** It reads from the filtered view, so it changes with your filters, and it is most useful for spotting that one person is carrying more than their share.
